Godden apparently did not have available the silk he recorded as "Leopold of Bavaria", and relied on the title listed on Stevens' advertising. I have now seen the actual silk, and the image is not of Leopold, but of his father, Luitpold. Godden included photographs of several pages from the Stevens Family album. On plate 164 of his book, was an unidentified portrait, which Godden identified with a later manuscript change as that of Alexander II. This title has now been added as so14 - Alexander II, Czar of Russia.
Godden also included a second unidentified portrait on plate 165 which he later identified as that of the Czar's son, Alexander III. This title has now been added as so15 - Alexander III, Czar of Russia.
